Theme Parks in Los Angeles

Disneyland in Anaheim

The bestknown theme park in the Los Angeles area is Disneyland in Anaheim. This park was recently expanded and modernised to bring it up to the standard of other Disney attractions around the world after more than 50 years. Other theme parks include a large amusement area close to the beach in Santa Monica, and there plenty of rides to thrill you at the Universal Studios Backlot tour.

Thanks to its location on the pacific coast, and massive size, Los Angeles has dozens of beaches, and most of them are open to the public, with only a few off limits. The best known are in Malibu and Venice, but Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, and Paradise cove are also very popular with visitors.

The best-known area for nights out in Los Angeles can be found along Sunset Boulevard. Here you will find many trendy bars and clubs including the world famous live music venue the Viper Room, The Viper Room which attracts movie stars and celebrities on most evenings.

Hollywood

Hollywood is the heart of the American movie industry, and no fan of the silver screen should miss out on a trip to the area to see the iconic sights such as the Hollywood sign and Graumann's Chinese Theatre, as well as the stars on Hollywood Boulevard where the rich and famous have left their mark on the pavement.

One thing is for sure, no matter how long you have in Los Angeles, it will never be enough time to really pack in everything that there is to see in this truly magical destination thanks to its many attractions.
